Two children died, and six others were injured after a cylinder blast in Noida's Sector 8.
According to details, the incident took place in a slum, after which several people were admitted to the hospital. The hospital authorities said that among the two children was a newborn baby who succumbed to burns.
Earlier on February 8, one person died after a fire broke out following a pressure cylinder explosion in Delhi's Tilak Nagar area, fire officials said. The incident took place at a gas cylinder filling shop in Harijan Colony near West Delhi's Tilak Nagar.
Officials said a total of six fire tenders along with fire rescue teams were rushed to the spot to douse the flames and carry out rescue operation.
